Feeding Recommendations

Are you having problems getting your mare in foal? Does your mare stay in season too long or too often? Is your mare mean to be around? If the answer to any of these questions is yes, then there is a good chance your mare is in need of Silver Lining's #14 Mare Fertility. If your mare is having troubles conceiving, or if she has a diagnosed endocrine imbalance in the form of low estrogen #14 Mare Fertility is the product you need.

Why is my mare infertile?

As you may know by now, the entire concept behind Silver Lining is replacing the natural grazing foods that have been taken away from our horses through time. Most times, the very reason for our mares infertility or moodiness is a lack of the foods their bodies need to stay fertile with a balanced endocrine system. A variety of the right foods is extremely important if a mare is expected to care for herself, as well as another. If a mare is not getting what she needs in her diet, her endocrine system becomes imbalanced which results in moodiness. A variety does not mean a flake of alfalfa and some oats each morning and night, even though these are both good foods they cannot stand alone over a period time. If this is all a mare is getting, eventually her system will become imbalanced and she will be moody and unable to conceive.

Feeding Recommendations

To help get your mare in foal, feed one tablespoon (1 prepackaged scoop) per day for 30 days prior to breeding. If feeding #14 Mare Fertility to increase the Estrogen in your mare feed her 1 tablespoon (1 scoop) per day, for a minimum period of 3 months. Your mare will then need to be reevaluated, as to whether she should switch to the #10 Training Mix or remain on the #14 Mare Fertility. Remember, very few mares are physically unable to conceive given they have the right diet. Years of study and design have gone into the making of #14 Mare Fertility to insure your mare the variety she needs in order to be balanced and ready to conceive.

NOTE: If all feeding recommendations are followed, a 1 pound package should last 55-60 days. In this case, the #14 Mare Fertility costs 0.90 cents per feeding!

WARNING: It should be noted the Mare Fertility contains small amounts of Black Cohosh and Dong Quai which should not be fed during pregnancy, therefore once the mare is pregnant the Mare Fertility should be discontinued until the foal is born and the product is needed once again.
